Have you ever seen a race where the pace car or safety car wrecked?

Has there ever been a race where the pace car or safety car wrecked? I imagine it happened before and it would be really funny to see. If you have a video I would like to see it.|||I saw the ARCA race where a driver NAILED the pace car. The people who were riding in the back seat of the pace car were almost killed. ARCA no longer allows more than 1 passenger now because of that wreck.|||I agree with you. I've never seen that, but it would be hilarious.|||no but some redneck jumped in one and took off down the track at talledega once ...he ddnt get very far and the state troopers kindly put him up for a while|||i was at the pikes peak hillclimb when the safety truck went off of "engineers corner"(a tight left hairpin)nose first into a 10' ditch and the race had to be put on hold till they could get it towed out with a wrecker.this was in the 1980s.|||i was at st loius drag racing once, and the tractors that put the rubber and traction down were just finishing the starting line when all of a sudden, a hydrolic line came off and hydrolic fluid was 2 inches deep and the start of the race was put off 45 minutes so they could clean up thier own mess, lol it was funny
