How can you make car safety appealing to children?

My partner and I are looking for ways for children to be intrested in buckling up when they're parents are driving. We're also looking for car games on paper or made up that we can play with them. We're gunna show this to kids at a elementry school and try to see if they'll approve of it. If you'll be kind to help, it would be much appreciated.|||First off, Why does everything have to be FUN.... since when is getting seriously hurt in an accident something that we need to sugar coat... It's simple, seat belts or car seats.... or the car does not start. No if's ands or buts.... but once safely seated in the car, my kids and I play a modified version of "slug bug" ; I do not like the hitting that came from our first round of "slug bug" years ago so we modified it to "snap bug" and we also call all sorts of other cars, we keep score on scratch paper... the eldest is responsible for that part, and everyone joins in... even the youngest who is now 4 plays... he can call the larger objects that he is able to see from his car seat... Here is just an example of the cars we call for points:

Fire= Fire Truck; UpsMan=UPS; Ouch=Paramedic; Donut=Police;SnapBug=VolkswagenBug; Oldschool=Old Hot Rod Cars= OhNoVolvo=Volvo;Tow=TowTruck..... anyway we have several others... it keeps us quite busy.....good luck with your project.|||1. we're trying to teach young children how to be safe not a bunch of teens how to know the basic 2. IT HAS TO BE SAFE. 3. you help was kinda useful, but thanks anyways.

Car games on paper : Tic tac toe, car bingo (make/models of cars), license plate bingo (plates from other states), the alphabet game (pick a subject and name something that starts with each letter for that subject)
