How can I make a new car safety device using easy material?

nothing like an air bag or something complicated..something unused, unknown, and easy..a car safety device..anything that would prevent injuries...like bumpers on a car or something...thanks for the help|||when you get a working model dont forget to post it/the best safety device i know is to not drive/stay home
