Why are different standards of car safety accepted in other cultures?

When's the last time you got everybody to agree on anything? Different people have different idea's about what is acceptable.

In the US, Canada, Japan, Australia, and Western Europe we are concerned with safety. Due to our different climates and ideas we have similar idea's not they cant always be achieved with the same methods.

Go to India, China, Russia, or South America and those people could never afford a car with that much safety. It would just cost too much to build. The key there is low cost to buy and maintain.|||Different people %26amp; cultures have different priorities.

People have little training in risk assessment %26amp; make poor decisions.
