How long can a car last with the neutral safety switch broken?

Got a Jeep Cherokee 96 model 4x4, 6 cylinder, 4.0 liters. The neutral safety switch just went out but I can still start the car in neutral. How much longer can I keep doing this before my car just won't crank up anymore?|||How long is a piece of string? This is a question that can have no exact answer could be for years and years or you may walkout to take a drive and it won't start tonight or tomorrow. Now you may just have a little adjustment to make.|||I guess your saying that it wont start in park , but you can start it in neutral. That's not that big of deal , Most likely the neutral switch isn't bad,it's just not going all the way into park causing it not to start in park. There's no way of knowing how long it will last .
