So my car has a check engine light on right now, but there is nothing wrong with it. Will it still pass a safety inspection (without emissions tests) even though the check engine light is on? Let me know what you think.|||providing there isnt anything else wrong with it it should go through.|||I guess that depends on the safety inspection.
In my state, this would not pass - but the safety inspection is also an emissions inspection.
I personally don't think the check engine light has a whole lot to do with strictly a safety inspection.
