If my car brake lines are a bit rusty will it fail a safety?

my car needs a safety, and the brake lines are a bit rusty, i wanna know if that could cause my car to fail. and if so, if i sand them could that help?|||a little rusty no. But check them for deep rust or leaks.|||rust is o.k. leaks are not. don't even think of sanding this would be an impossible job if they leak replace them all or you will be going back in a month to replace another one%26lt;|||your breaks should be fine ,just clean the rust off and they will be fine that happens to a lot of vehicles ,you get water in there and it turns to rust no harm will happen they might clean the rust off for you .when you get them checked .|||You'll will be fine, I have been inspecting vehicles for over 30 years and as long as they are not leaking or have cracked rubber they will pass.
