Did the "stewads" make up a decision about rosberg going too fast during the safety car yet?

JB needs all the points he can get, JB FOR CHAMP!|||.

Way aye man! Bernie Bling decided it would be better to not give Jenson the point and increase the viewing figures for the corporate shysters...

.

NB No offense to Rosberg intended, but rules are rules...

PS "Stewads" - love the Newkie accent!!

.|||The "stewads" would have looked at the data from Rosberg's car and concluded that no penalty was warranted. I was surprised by Button's attitude when interviewed when he seemed convinced that he would be getting more than just one point. Maybe the pressure made him sound like a bit of a douche but I would have expected him to play it a bit more cool with a "we'll wait and see what the stewards say" attitude rather than "Rosberg will be getting a penalty and therefore I will be getting an extra point".|||By all accounts Rosberg did go to fast as he did exceed the time delta. But in his favour he did not do it intentionally %26amp; it appears there were no safety issues. But as we all know Jenson %26amp; others had a 5 place penalty on the grid. I can well imagine Jenson being pissed about this %26amp; expects rules to be applied fairly hence his stance in his interview. The bottom line is Rosberg, for what ever reason, exceeded the time delta which means he must of been speeding.

Edit:- f42 I am just saying it appears there was no blatent rule breaking. I am not saying it excuses the breaking of the rule. Weather people like the rules or not they have to be applied consistantly or it makes a mockery of the sport.|||Much as I like Rosberg the rules seem quite clear to me. It's IRRELEVANT whether it was intentional or not, he was driving too fast and should have had some kind of penalty.

In Singapore he got a drive through for crossing a white line (something that wasn't intentional, lost him time, and presented no danger to other cars in that case). Why was he not also punished for something that DID illegally gain him time, even if it was unintentional and perfectly safe?

It's the inconsistency of the stewards that I hate the most.|||Yes, they decided he didn't go too fast.

Bit of a fix if you ask me as they stewards said that Rosberg couldn't see the lap delta because the low fuel warning on his wheel was hiding it, but they were satisified that he did slow down.

So did he go too fast or not and why isn't there a penalty for having a steering wheel design that is obviously unsafe?|||I wish JB would just go all out for a win like he did in the first part of the season, fair enough his car is now slower than the Red bulls and Mclarens, but he should be ahead of Rubens at the end of most races.

Lets hope JB puts his foot down and at least finishes 4th or 5th on the remaining circuits, and Lewis beats Vettel.|||no their not going to. it keeps the championship closer
