In F1 racing, has the safety car ever been involved in an accident?

I know this question was down as resolved however it wasn't. The best answer chosen by voters was regarding the Indy 500 Pace Car and not the safety car in F1, so I am reasking the qustion. tx for ur responses.|||yes. at the begin of a race in 1995 a safety car at the back was going at a much higher speed and it crashed into the back of a f1 car.|||I remember two...

Taki Inoue was run over by the safety car because the guy was so angry that the marshals didn't do anything to stop a fire in his car, that he went for a fire extinguisher to stop the fire himself...But while he was rushing to his racecar, he was hit by the safety car and broke his leg.

Also Nick Heidfeld hit the Medical Car just when it opened the door during warm-up for a race a few years ago. Luckily neither the doctor nor the driver of the medical car were injured because they were still in the car when Heidfeld hit it.|||Yeh it was. Kimi raaikkenon ran into the door of the safety car or medic car while it was pickin up a driver in practice a few years ago|||I am reposting my answer. In Hungary, in 1995, Taki Inoue was run over by a course car coming to his help after he retired from the race with the car catching fire. And in Brazil, in 2002, Nick Heidfeld, in a Sauber, smashed the door of another course car which had been there to help Arrows driver Enrique Bernoldi.

I don't remember the Safety Car being involved in accidents, but I can point out that Ayrton Senna's accident occured a lap after the end of a Safety Car period.|||i think someone got run over by one once as well, cant remember exactly it may be kimi raikkonen experience named above, not sure
